Nara is a prefecture that was once the capital city of Japan during the Nara era. Nara adjacent to Osaka and Kyoto, became a favorite tourist destination. This is because many traditional and historic buildings that can be accessed by foot.
Every weekend, Nara always crowded by tourists who visit Kofukuji, Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha, Todaiji and much more. The main attractions of Nara is Todaiji Temple is famous for the giant Buddha statue is Daibutsuden. Daibutsuden height reaches 15 meters and the main attraction, the tourism Nara is destination trip to Japan.
According to historical records, the capital of Japan was moved several times. In addition to Kyoto, Nara has also been used as the central government of Japan. Nara time it was still called Heijo-kyo. Effect of Nara in Japan increasingly felt in the Nara period.
Then, in medieval temples in Nara became a military force for the rulers. Because these temples have a lot of influence, not infrequently this temple was subjected to arson during the war. Even Daibutsuden at Todaiji Temple also had burned up twice.
It was only after the Edo period, Nara back to skyrocket. Tokugawa shogunate enforce their authority in Nara. Until now, the remnants of the life of the Edo period still visible in Nara. This was apparent in Naramachi tourism destination. A shopping street with quaint shops Edo style will be easy to find in Naramachi.
Nara Park
Welcome to Nara Park yaaay :D |
While Nara Park is usually associated with the broad areas of the temples and the park proper, previously private gardens are now open to public. These gardens make use of the temple buildings as adjunct features of their landscapes.
The park is home to the Nara National Museum and Todai-ji, where the largest wooden building in the world houses a 50 tall statue of Buddha.
This park as well as the habitat of a home to hundreds of deer roam freely. Which in Shinto believed to be the messenger of the gods.
Nearly 1,200 deer roam in Nara Park and set up as a symbol of the city and the most protected animals in Nara.

Do not be afraid, because the deer here are very tame, despite aggressive. They become calmer, when fed by visitors. You can buy deers food such as cookies that have a lot in peddling on the edge all the way around Nara park at a price of about 150 yen per pack. Although they are benign, you should be careful, sometimes they will follow or sniff your bags or innate, to be given cookies again.

You will likely come across several deer and hear the soft chants of the priests. Twice a day the sound of the blows to calling the deer and indicates to the deer to gather in the park for deers daily cookies.
This is a unique and entertaining experience not to be missed. I can enjoyed the beauty of the city of Nara, and visit some tourist spots such as Nara Park, I could see hundreds of deer are free to run to and fro, and could touch them and feed them. Not only that, there was a beautiful temple in the middle of the woods such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine, who has thousands of lanterns are very beautiful and others.
