How to Root Samsung Galaxy S5

This tutorial will work some of S5 Models.

Before start you must know What is rooting in android ?
First of all check your galaxy S5 model number. Go to Setting ----About-----Model Number.
If your S5 has model number other than following models . Do not try to root via this method.
SM-G900M (Middle and South America)-SM-G900R4 (US Cellular)
SM-G900W8 (Canada)-SM-G900F (International Qualcomm)
SM-G900H (International Exynos)-SM-G900I (Oceania)
SM-G900T (T-Mobile US)- SM-G900P (Sprint)
SM-G900T1 (Metro PCS) .
Download CF Auto-root.zip from homepage.
Double click on icon to open the Odin which include in Zip file. . Click on PDA and select CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-XXXX.tar.md5. The above showed file is for G900f . for different models there are different kind of files with .tar.md5 extension. The selection of above file in the tutorial is for understanding . CF-Auto-Root---XXXXXXX--XXXX.tar.md5(X Shown as example). Do not click on Re- Partition box.

If you are not familiar to Odin . you must read How to flash Samsung Smartphones with Odin
Its time to boot your Galaxy S5 into Download Mode.Turn off phone. Press and hold volume down button and home button. Now press Power button . When warning screen appear press volume down again to boot into download mode.
Insert data cable and make sure Odin recognize your smartphone. Click on start button to start whole process. S5 will reboot and Odin will display Pass msg. SuperSU will be install on phone automatically if not then download . If you want to confirm then check out root with any app.
